Intera giornata escursione lungo i colli asolani. Asolo, è un piccolo gioiello tra le colline della Marca Trevigiana, la “citta’ dei cento orizzonti” (Carducci) regno di Caterina Cornaro e città cara a poeti e artisti, è oggi considerata uno dei luoghi più belli al mondo, con le sue piccole piazze, scorci di rara bellezza, paesaggi naturali dal fascino romantico e con viste mozzafiato. Entro le mura  raggiungiamo Piazza Maggiore chiusa sul lato dal Duomo e  aperta sulla retrostante Piazza Brugnoli. Qui domina la seicentesca Villa Scotti-Pasini  sopra cui sovrasta la Rocca.

Nel pomeriggio, proseguimento e visita di Possagno, essa ospita la casa natale del grande scultore neoclassico  Antonio Canova: nella piazza del paese sorge la casa natale e accanto la splendida Gipsoteca che raccoglie, calchi, gessi e opere pittoriche.

Full day excursion along the Asolo hills. Asolo, is a small jewel in the hills of the Marca Trevigiana, the “city of a hundred horizons” (Carducci) reign of Caterina Cornaro and a city dear to poets and artists, is today considered one of the most beautiful places in the world, with its small squares, glimpses of rare beauty, natural landscapes with romantic charm and breathtaking views. Within the walls we reach Piazza Maggiore closed on the side by the Cathedral and open on the back Piazza Brugnoli. Here dominates the seventeenth-century Villa Scotti-Pasini above which stands the fortress.

Lunch in a restaurant or farmhouse with a typical local menu. In the afternoon, continuation and visit of Possagno, it hosts the birthplace of the great neoclassical sculptor Antonio Canova: in the town square stands the birthplace and next to it the amazing Gipsoteca that collects, casts, plaster casts and paintings.
